DCE Inspects Progress of Work at 24-Hour Economy Market Project Site

The District Chief Executive, Hon. Samuel Somuah, accompanied by the Presiding Member, Hon. Lawrence Boakye Boateng, undertook a working visit to the site of the ongoing 24-Hour Economy Market project to inspect the progress of work.

Following an inspection and engagement with project supervisors and workers on site, the DCE expressed satisfaction with the pace of work and encouraged the contractor to sustain the momentum.

In his remarks to the media, Hon. Somuah expressed gratitude to Nananom for their invaluable support and collaboration with the Assembly, and to the citizens of Sekyere Central District for their cooperation towards the commencement of the project. He also conveyed profound appreciation to the President of the Republic for his vision in advancing local economies through this initiative.

The project supervisor thanked the DCE and Assembly management for their continued support, noting that the DCE's regular visits serve as both a check and a source of motivation to deliver their best. He added that, if the current pace of work is maintained, the project could be completed ahead of schedule.

The team also visited the relocated Nsuta market to monitor trading activities and engage with traders.
